Brian Gilliland, owner of BSG Sales, has over 18 years of Sales, Sales Management and General Business Management experience in a variety of settings. Through the years, he has advised numerous successful business professionals and trained many high-achieving sales professionals. Brian’s business philosophy has always been to give the customer the best value for their money. In every aspect of doing business, he strives to achieve this goal.
His career started in the Home Improvement Industry and has progressed from there. Brian has worked for a direct marketing firm, building material manufacturer and recently had been the president/general manager of a building material manufacturer/distribution company and general contracting firm. Brian’s background also includes 9 successful years as a professional sports agent.
As a salesperson, sales manager, business general manager and certified NFL player agent, Brian was able to hone his leadership and sales abilities. His management style helped him gain the respect of his clients/customers and show himself to be a trusted consultant at the same time. His goal was to always be in the top tier of the companies or industries that he worked in - a goal he acheived on a regular basis. Brian also prides himself on his ability to train and motivate those who work for/with him.
For the primary election during the election year 2006, Brian was a candidate for US Congress in western Illinois. His focus was on economic development and job creation. Although unsuccessful in gaining the nomination, Brian earned a respectable amount of support and votes, and was asked to run again in 2008. The experience did allow Brian a chance to communicate with all levels of society, as well as enhancing his presentation and leadership skills. Many thousands of people saw Brian capable of being one of our Nation’s leaders, demonstrating it by casting their votes. Brian Gilliland brings this same leadership quality to BSG Sales.
